Punk rock with a heap of power pop would probably fit the description and let’s cut to the chase here – Zoo Escape have tunes! Damn, they have tunes. “First Gloom” is a really strong set opener that pays its dues to the school of the Clash with its ringing guitar clang, stop/start riff and punchy melody to go with the attitude.
